Carolyn Baker will be headed to University of Memphis next year. She received a full 4 year scholarship. She is a member of Houston Juniors 18-under team and has been a member of Houston Juniors for the past 3 years. She is a senior at Thurgood Marshall High School in Missouri City. This is her 2nd yr of sponsorship from The Women's Sports Initiative. Congrats Carolyn.
Carolyn states: Thanks Nyla and the Women's Sports Initiative for your support these last few years. The organization has been great for me and I will definitely recommend WSI to other young female athletes looking for sponsorship.

One of our sponsored kids, Sharonda Marshall, of Eisenhower High School received a full 4-year scholarship in volleyball to Praireview. She plays on the Houston Juniors 18's team

MARCH/MAY 2008 Volunteer Opportunity |
Come support our kids by being a volunteer. We currently have 2 opportunities to setup and take down courts during the Cross Court Classic and Regionals at the George R. Brown Convention Center on March 13 and/or 14 and May 2 (setup dates) as well as March 16 and May 4 (take down). If you would like to volunteer, please contact Nyla @ (832)641-3798.
